Get started in 5 steps

  1. 01

    Download and install

    Run the app installer first, then the Data Pack installer (navigation database, cockpit panels and sample flights) — you can put the Data Pack in any folder you like. The app itself has no login: the Free tier and the trial need no sign-in.

    Windows or browser warnings. Our installers are new and their code-signing certification is in progress, so Windows may not recognise them yet. This is expected:

    • Edge ("isn't commonly downloaded"): open edge://downloads, click Keep next to the file, then Show more → Keep anyway.
    • Chrome: in the downloads list (chrome://downloads), click Keep / Download anyway.
    • When you run the installer ("Windows protected your PC"): click More info → Run anyway.
  2. 02

    Start your simulator

    Launch MSFS or X-Plane and load a flight. SimFlyMinimums connects automatically.

  3. 03

    Open SimFlyMinimums

    It detects your simulator and starts tracking your aircraft on the map.

  4. 04

    Set up your flight

    In Setup pick your aircraft and your departure and arrival airports. The satellite moving map works out of the box (MapTiler included).

  5. 05

    Start flying

    Pick a departure and arrival, build or import a plan, and fly with full awareness.
